Today, while coming out if service, I accidentally bumped into a elderly man. He had the most striking silver hair I’ve ever seen… But it’s wasnt his appearance that triggered something in me. He immediately put his hand on my shoulders and said…”You are a blessed woman. It is contagious. I will go home and also be blessed.” i was speechless & froozen for a about 3 sec. Mostly because his hand held my entire body down. Like he needed what he said to be registered first. I smiled and said thank-you. We went by our day. Now, here I am, I still feel the warmth of his hand on my shoulders. And that quotes keeps playing in my head. Mostly because this stranger interrupted me before I could say I was sorry. Because this stranger purposely interrupted me. He didn’t want to hear that apology. I have no doubt in my mind.

I May never meet this man again. But I will remember every single thing about him. Down to what he wore, and that tattoo on his hand. and the fact that he didn’t smile. Not once.
